日本語で言いますと、

過去のことで悩んだり後悔したりするあなたはどうすれば良いかと言えば、

それは

自分の心に、以下の事を囁いてあげましょう。

『私があの時に選んだ選択は、正しいと思っていた』

あの時の選択は正しいと思っていたのですね。

時間の流れと共に、後で「間違いだった」と気づいても大丈夫です。

大切なのは、過去に、あなたは「正しいと思っていた選択をした」ことです。

あの時以来、あなたは成長しました。

いつか、昔を思い出しながら、「あの選択をして良かった」と笑える日が来るかもしれません。

People have regrets over their past...

However, if you have regrets,

whisper gently to your heart that

"I made that choice because I thought it was the correct choice"

As time passed, you have eventually realized that you had made a... mistake...

That's okay. (don't despair!)

The most important thing is that you did what you thought it was the right thing to do.

Who knows? Maybe sometime in the future, you will look back once again,

only to say:

"I'm so glad I made that choice!"
