Most important thing about Astrology
There are so many articles and comments regarding the "accuracy" of astrology. Some people are fighting to "prove" that astrology is unreal, is fiction and has no scientific basis.... Many of these people have never practiced astrology, or do not know more than the fact that "I am a Virgo". Some of them practice it while being skeptic at the same time....
However, many of the astrologers believe in their work and their clients are satisfied.
My personal view about astrology and its accuracy, about this ongoing fight over being "real" or "fake" is that...
There is more to the world than meets the eye. The most important thing is NOT if astrology is real or not. The most important thing is that using the astrology, an astrologer can guide, inspire, and offer honest support to his clients. And that the clients are happy with the support. An astrologer has the wonderful ability to enrich an individual's life and he does this bringing astrology into his services. Of course there are many other ways people enrich individuals' lives. Astrology is just one of them. Isn't this (enriching an individual's life) the greatest gift one can offer to another human being?
What astrology really does is to bring the celestial energies into one's awareness. It makes us conscious of the fact that we are energy, that we are one with the universe.
Astrology is a tool which if used carefully, can inspire a greater sense of purpose for any human being. It can also (and mostly based on this sense of purpose) even release the stress and inner tension people feel while being in a crisis situation in their lives. It can do so because it can inspire one to switch his consciousness to a more spiritual level. So instead of seeing oneself as a "victim" defeated by life's "unfair" events, one can see himself as "learning" something new, something that is making him stronger, something that may even push him into taking action and discovering his inner, infinite power that lies within.
So rather than focusing on "astrology really works" or " astrology doesn't work", isn't more important that people can really be helped and positively inspired by the symbolism an astrologer interprets?
In the end, Happiness is everybody's goal. Astrology doesn't make one happy, but it doesn't make one unhappy either. Astrology shows a way towards happiness. And that matters most.
